The situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic remains tense.

  

Over the past day the Ukrainian punishers violated the ceasefire 466 times.

The enemy launched 97 artillery shells of 122mm and 152mm caliber and 309 mines of 82mm and 120mm caliber at the peaceful localities of the Republic. Besides, the shelling was carried out with infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and

small arms.

  

The military criminals Gorbatyuk, Vodolazsky, Zabolotny, Zubanich, Panchenko, Yakubov were in charge of shelling the localities of Zaitsevo, Zhovanka, Yasinovataya, Spartak, Kominternovo, Sakhanka, the area of the Donetsk airport and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk.  

As a result of shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic, there died a serviceman.  

The Ukrainian side purposefully keeps destroying the vital infrastructure and the infrastructure of Donbass. Thus, the area of the Donetsk water purification installation was once again shelled by the Ukrainian punishers with mortars and artillery weapons, as a result there was damaged the power line and ceased the electric power supply to the station. At present time, the water supply is limited in the locality of Yasinovataya, Kievsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk and in the area of the locality of Avdeyevka controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

  

At the moment at the Donetsk water purification installation there is carried out the repair works.
Because of the Ukrainian punishers’ artillery fire at the locality of Zaitsevo, Kominternovo, Sakhanka and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk there were damaged twenty-five house-buildings. 

All the data on violating the Minsk Agreements were handed over to the representatives of the OSCE and JCCC.

We keep registering the strengthening of the enemy’s command in conflict with the Minsk Agreements concluded earlier. Thus, in the area of the localities of:

  

Kirovo (6km away from the contact line) there was registered the presence of 6 mortars of 120mm caliber;

Avdeyevka (5km away from the contact line) there was registered the presence of three howitzers D-30 of 122mm caliber and four mortars of 120mm caliber;

  

Novogrigorovka (3km away from the contact line) there was registered the arrival of up to ten mortars of 120mm caliber;

Kamenka (8km away from the contact line) there was registered the presence of three self-propelled artillery platforms “Akatsiya” of 152mm caliber.

The Ukrainian military keep taking losses as a result of the absence of the cooperation with the near-by units and of the low level of the military training of firing crews. Thus, the servicemen of the 16th battalion of the 58th separate infantry brigade shelled the positions of the 12 battalion of the 26th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located in the area of the locality of Avdeyevka with bombardment artillery and mortars, because of the wrong fire adjustment during the carrying out of the regular provocative shellings. The results of the “mistake” were over twenty servicemen, including dead and injured ones

The incessant shellings by the Ukrainian punishers of the Republican localities are providing evidences of the fact that the Ukrainian side has totally abstracted itself from implementing the Agreement of the Minsk Format and definitely taken the course towards initiating the hostilities.
In turn, the Republic leadership keeps inviolately implementing the Minsk commitments undertaken and at the same time will strive for decreasing the activity of the provocative actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using all the legal means.

2- Kiev rejects negotiations with Donbass, new war prepared

Yesterday’s disruption of the negotiations in Minsk by the Ukrainian side provides evidence of the fact the Kiev refuses the political settlement of the crisis in Donbass and places a premium on a new coil of the war.

It was stated by the political expert Denis Denisov, the expert of the Institute of the CIS states.

‘There are all the suppositions to think that Kiev has already determined for itself that it is going to solve the conflict in Donbass only by guns.

The political dialogue as part of the Minsk negotiations is actually blocked by the Ukrainian side. There is no law on the special status, on the constitutional reform, on the elections and on the amnesty.

Unfortunately, the situation deteriorates and the conflict in Donbass will be unlikely settled without influence on the part of external players.

3- Martin Sajdik promises to help in handing over Donbass residents petition to UNSC

The special representative of the OSCE Head Martin Sajdik has promised to render his assistance in handing the petition of the Donbass population to the United Nations Security Council.

It was told by Martin Sajdik, according to the results of the session of the Contact Group on settling the situation in Donbass.

‘Mister Pushylin has asked me to assist in handing the petition of the Donbass residents over to the United Nations Security Council and OSCE. I have promised to consider the question,’ pointed out Martin Sajdik.

It should be noted that on February 17, 2015 the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution on Ukraine in furtherance of the Minsk Agreements as a general principle and the Complex of Measures in particular.
