USA/Criminal Embargoes: Venezuela and Iran in the Crosshairs of Murderers Inc – Who Is Next?

August 10, 2019, Global Research (Canada) https://www.globalresearch.ca/criminal-embargoes-venezuela-iran-crosshairs-murderers-inc-who-next/5686080

Imagine just for a moment, the World would stand up in unison, sick and tired of the aggressive killer arrogance of the United States and her vassals – and their joint war-force called NATO – and this World, our World, what’s left of it when you deduct Washington and its Brussels allies, would at once block every shipment of everything destined for the ports of the United States of America; every sea port, airport and road port. Hermetically. Nothing would enter. Nothing, no food, no medicine, no electronics, no cars – no nothing. And nothing could leave. No exports, no petrol, no grains, no meat, no pharmaceuticals and foremost, no weapons. Nothing.

And now, take your mind a step further – and imagine the same – exactly the same, a total and full blockage of Israel – nothing would enter, no food, no fuel, no medication, no machinery and especially no weapons – and nothing would leave; a full and total blockage.

This would of course be totally illegal; illegal and unacceptable, by any international law, by the standards of the UN Charter, by the Human Rights Laws and Directives – by any ethical values of human morals. Wouldn’t it? – Yet, this is exactly what these countries are doing, have been doing for decades, sanctioning to strangle and murder entire populations into death or submission. The US with Cuba; Israel with Palestine. And the coercion and

Brazil and the US – a Neoliberal Alliance Under Bolsonaro and Trump

July 19, 2019, Strategic Culture Foundation http://www.strategic-culture.org (Russia) https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2019/07/19/brazil-and-us-neoliberal-alliance-under-bolsonaro-trump/

Brazil’s shift to the right-wing has been lauded by the US, which is still not over its penchant for foreign meddling in Latin America. Jair Bolsonaro, who has made news headlines for all the wrong reasons, notably disregard for climate change, indigenous rights and education, has altered the previous diplomacy by prioritising global investment over regional ties, thus facilitating the country’s exploitation.

For the US, of course, this is welcome news. An unnamed US official declared, “Even the friendliest of Brazilian governments was never really that friendly. Here we have now a government in Brazil we truly consider an ally.”

The tactics may have changed – there is enough history of US-backed dictatorships in Latin America to have fomented fractured societies, to the point than a shift to the right-wing through elections was only a matter of time. Brazil was no

BRICS, БРИКС, 金砖五国/APPEAL TO CHINA AND RUSSIA: PLEASE DO NOT LET VENEZUELA FALL!

Open Letter to Presidents Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin

Dear Mr. President Xi Jinping,
Dear Mr. President Vladimir Putin,

The re-emerging specter of nuclear catastrophe is once again haunting the world.
The West is trying to isolate and provoke two great, proud, powerful and sovereign countries; China and Russia. It appears that the pathological desire to gain (or more precisely, re-gain) full control over the entire world is fully restraining all remaining flickers of rationale and humanism inside the brains of the politicians and business ‘elites’ in Washington, London and elsewhere.

The danger is real. It is enough to take a brief look at the map depicting the world at the beginning of the 20th Century, to realize that the West is capable of enslaving almost the entire Planet, by forcing through its colonialist and imperialist designs.

Western imperialism has already exterminated hundreds of millions of human beings, in all corners of the globe. And even now, it is still murdering millions, directly and indirectly.

Both China and Russia experienced the horrors of Western invasions. On several occasions, both nations had to turn to steel, in order to resist and

The US Is Preparing to Oust President Evo Morales/США готовятся устранить президента Эво Моралеса

9.06.2016, Strategic Culture Foundation http://www.strategic-culture.org (Russia)

US intelligence agencies have ramped up their operations intended to remove Bolivian President Evo Morales from office. All options are on the table, including assassination. Barack Obama, who sees the weakening of Latin America’s “hostile bloc of populist states” as one of his administration’s foreign-policy victories, intends to buoy this success before stepping down.

Washington also feels under the gun in Bolivia because of China’s successful expansion in the country. Morales is steadily strengthening his financial, economic, trade, and military relationship with Beijing. Chinese businesses in La Paz are thriving – making investments and loans and taking part in projects to secure a key position for Bolivia in the modernization of the continent’s transportation industry. In the next 10 years, thanks to Bolivia’s plentiful gas reserves, that country will become

Argentina and Russia: 130 years of diplomatic relations/Аргентина -- Россия: 130 лет дипломатических отношений

2015 will mark the 130thanniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Argentina. There is no question but that the remarkable progress that has been made in recent years in various aspects of their bilateral cooperation is propelling Moscow and Buenos Aires onward toward new frontiers. During the official visit to Moscow of the president of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, on April 21-23, the two parties signed 20 documents, notably among them a Joint Statement on the Establishment of a Russian-Argentine Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The Argentine president is charting her own course independently of the US and is working to accelerate Latin American integration under the auspices of organizations such as UNASUR, Celac, and ALBA. Hugo Dragonetti, a key government figure involved with infrastructure projects in Argentina, called Cristina Fernández’s visit to Russia «a challenge to the United States», who continues to behave as if Latin America were its own backyard.

The cooperation between Russia and Argentina is a laudable example of equal and mutually beneficial relations. Argentines have welcomed Uralmash’s proposal to work together to create a business to manufacture petroleum equipment. Russia also supplies turbines for Argentina’s hydroelectric plants. There is talk of using Russian expertise to help update the Argentine-Uruguayan Salto Grande hydroelectric plant. The Russian company Inter RAO-Export has won a tender for the right to build a new hydroelectric plant. And Rosatom has become involved in the project to construct the sixth Atucha nuclear reactor. These agreements will give Argentina access to the most up-to-date Russian technology that meets the

Open Veins of Latin America
Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent
by Eduardo Galeano
Foreword by Isabel Allende. Translated by Cedric Belfrage

“A superbly written, excellently translated, and powerfully persuasive expose which all students of Latin American and U.S. history must read.”

—CHOICE

Since its U.S. debut a quarter-century ago, this brilliant text has set a new standard for historical scholarship of Latin America. It is also an outstanding political economy, a social and cultural narrative of the highest quality, and perhaps the finest description of primitive capital accumulation since Marx.

Rather than chronology, geography, or political successions, Eduardo Galeano has organized the various facets of Latin American history according to the patterns of five centuries of exploitation. Thus he is concerned with gold and silver, cacao and cotton, rubber and coffee, fruit, hides and wool, petroleum, iron, nickel, manganese, copper, aluminum ore, nitrates, and tin. These are the veins which he traces through the body of the entire continent, up to the Rio Grande and throughout the Caribbean, and all the way to their open ends where they empty into the coffers of wealth in the United States and Europe.

Weaving fact and imagery into a rich tapestry, Galeano fuses scientific analysis with the passions of a plundered and suffering people. An immense gathering of materials is framed with a vigorous style that never falters in its command of themes. All readers interested in great historical, economic, political, and social writing will find a singular analytical achievement, and an overwhelming narrative that makes history speak, unforgettably.

This classic is now further honored by Isabel Allende’s inspiring introduction. Universally recognized as one of the most important writers of our time, Allende once again contributes her talents to literature, to political principles, and to enlightenment.
