Recently, I have come across articles stating the Ukrainian soldiers are humiliated and tortured in the DPR captivity. I couldn't steer clear of this bald-faced lie spread by US-funded so-called journalists and activists. Why are these issues brought up again? What are they aimed at? There should be only one answer – again and again to demonize Donetsk and Lugansk republics, to force the entire ”democratic society” into aggressive disposition against ordinary people in Donbass. It's one of the attempts to feed propaganda machine in order to unleash wide-scale hostilities in People's Republics. Kiev and its Western handlers need a war. They are losing time. Parliamentary elections in Russia and presidential vote in the USA are the reasons. The Americans are really striving for

a certain status quo in these issues. We have become the eyewitnesses of another round of full-scale attack on Russia and Donbass. Kiev is preparing for war by the US hands. The “ceasefire regime” is constantly violated by the Ukrainian military. The Kiev's murderers started launching artillery shells onto residential areas, civilian property. Every day there are people in Donetsk who get wounded or killed. The so-called Minsk Agreements, if they ever existed, are fully destroyed. It is very likely the war is inevitable. So, the reviving of alleged tortures by Donbass defenders is a step towards unleashing a war.

Over a month ago the UN has published a new report saying that after two years of the conflict, the situation in ”eastern Ukraine” remains volatile and continues having a severe impact on human rights, especially for those living near the contact line and on the territories controlled by armed groups. But it is not specified by what groups. As as rule, not revealing those found responsible means that it's disadvantageously for those who are trying to conceal the truth. In this case it really means that those nameless groups are the Ukrainian army and Nazi volunteer battalions. Then there are such statements by the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights, Ivan Šimonovic:

The majority of allegations suggest that threats of rape and other forms of sexual violence are used as a method of ill-treatment and torture in the context of arbitrary or illegal detention, both towards men and women. 

Impunity of law enforcement and security elements for human rights violations remains widespread, and is often justified by the challenges posed by the ongoing armed conflict. In territories controlled by the armed groups, law and order has collapsed and illegal parallel structures have developed.

But of course they couldn't avoid taking notice of our authorities and defenders:

The self-proclaimed ‘Donetsk people’s republic’ and self-proclaimed ‘Lugansk people’s republic’ have undermined the human rights of the estimated 2.7 million people residing under their control. They have imposed an arbitrary system of rules, established a network of places of deprivation of liberty where detainees are tortured and ill-treated, and cracked down on dissent. The ‘ministry of state security’ of the ‘Donetsk people’s republic’ has emerged as the main entity responsible for carrying out repressive house searches, arrests, and detentions. In a worrying pattern of behavior, the ‘Donetsk people’ s republic’ and ‘Lugansk people’s republic’ continued to deny international organizations and external observers unfettered access to places of deprivation of liberty. Subjected to unaccountable rule and excluded from the legal system applying to the rest of Ukraine, the population living in the territories controlled by the armed groups has been effectively denied basic protection and deprived of basic human rights and freedoms.

So, as you see, they lie, lie, and lie. If the representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights' Office really intended to be objective and to find the truth they would have visited those places they are talking about. The DPR and the LPR are for the truth, open, have nothing to hide. The outstanding examples may be the evidences of the Ukrainian soldiers who used to be in the DPR captivity.

A young guy, Alexey Gavras, the 39th battalion of territorial defense of Dnepropetrovsk captured by the DPR defenders says: 

We were well treated, provided a meal, medicaments.

And it's not the first evidence of the Ukrainians proving our humanity. The DPR Head Alexander Zakcharchenko has more than once invited mothers of the Ukrainian soldiers being in the DPR to come and see in which conditions they are and then take away their sons. Many of them undertook the proposal, came to Donetsk and were really astonished, how mendacious the Ukrainian media were.

We are people who are following the United Nations Convention against Torture. We, the people of Donbass, who rose against Maidan's evil in 2014, against violence and violation of human rights in Ukraine, how can we torture and harm other people, even if they are our enemies. Never! We are not the Ukrainian Nazi-bastards who are out for blood.

Here is another example of their democratic state.

Konsnantin Beskorovainy spent 15 months jailed secretly by the Ukrainian Security Services (SBU). An active member of the Communist party in a small eastern town of Konstantinovka, he was not a supporter of Ukraine’s government. He worked as a dentist at a local hospital until Nov. 2014, when Ukrainian government authorities arbitrarily detained him.

Several times during Beskorovainy’s protracted detention — allegedly at an SBU compound in Kharkov — his captors told him that he had been put up for prisoner exchange with Russia-backed separatists. The separatists did not want him. Time was dragged on, and the guards at the compound grumbled that prisoners like Beskorovainy were “ghosts” and “there was no budget” to feed them.

“You do not exist,” they kept telling him and the other inmates.

Beskorovainy was finally released in Feb. 2016. Sixteen other “ghosts” — 15 men and one woman — remained. Beskorovayiy had had no contact with the outside world since the time he was detained in 2014 until his release. The detention was not officially registered and the SBU denied it ever happened.

Ukrainian interrogators often use electric shock on the genitals of male detainees, as well as severe beatings and water-boarding. Almost everyone who was in Ukraine's prisons says that the Ukrainian army and punishment battalions kneecap and run over feet with military vehicles. A mock firing squad and sending prisoners to minefields is also a common practice. The tortured victims state that the Ukrainian army systematically use a torture technique called ”water-boarding”. Previously, this method was used by the American secret services.

So, it's absolutely clear who is a murderer and abuser and who is a victim. American, Canadian, Polish and other instructors deployed to Ukraine are training soldiers to kill, torture, humiliate the innocent residents of Donbass. The great evil [the USA] sows the evil seeds in the whole world. The seed of extremism and Nazism has found a fertile ground in Ukraine. To win Donbass needs to bring to life the remains of Ukraine and destroy the seed. Only in this case this failed state will be friendly towards us and towards Russia. Nobody knows how and when it will occur. But one thing is a constant, Donbass can't avoid the war that is being imposed by Kiev. It will be the last aggression for Ukraine against our republics.

I don't remember any example from history that the state government has trained its own civilians to resist police, security officials and armed forces in effective and organized way. Do you?

But the Donetsk People's Republic in former Ukraine is doing just that, while readying its citizens to counter any foreign forces in the territory of free Donbass, specially so called "armed OSCE police mission", which Kiev regime in Ukraine has proposed.

On 20th July in Shakhtyorsk activists of a vigilante group and other volunteers – altogether about two thousand people – took part in a training on unarmed counteraction against possible invasion of DPR by foreign armed missions.

"Kiev doesn't let us hold elections independently, but also wants to occupy us by the hands of an armed foreign contingent. We are against such "ultimatums", we well remember disintegration of Yugoslavia, the Serbian Kraina's tragedy in Croatia. Thousands of residents of this country died by the arms of similar "peacekeepers". Massacre of peaceful citizens began there with direct connivance of the armed missions," stated the leader of the voluntary self-defence group Valery Perelygin.

What this highly notable training event shows, is that the Donetsk People's Republic is a stable young country, which leadership can trust its citizens at the most highest level and also DPR citizens can trust its government and officials. The liability for order is shared between the officials and citizens in most balanced way. What we can say by the facts: Donbass and its free people's republics have become very different than what world has used to see in form of republics. 

"Today peaceful citizens gathered and carried out training not only to receive skills of counteraction to the armed employees of the mission, but also to show the whole world that we are able to protect ourselves. We have shown how we would act if Ukraine still achieved introduction of the armed mission to our territories. We do not need weapons to ensure safety during elections," emphasized Perelygin.

So, the remarkable thing is that the united civilian force has sent undeniable message to Ukraine and all its western supporters: "OSCE police mission?" - "Dont even think about it!". And at the same time something for us all to learn: how the world in people's hands could be very different.

3-  Russian lawmaker: current policy of NATO decreases chances for success of Minsk Agreements

Chances for timely implementation of the Minsk Agreements are shrinking with the current policy of the European Union (EU) and NATO, chairman of Russian Federation Council’s International Affairs Committee Konstantin Kosachev said in an interview published in the Izvestiya newspaper on Monday.

With the current policy of the West - NATO countries, European Union countries - chances for timely implementation of the Minsk Agreements are not growing but, unfortunately, shrinking instead, Kosachev said, reports TASS.

The implementation of the Minsk accords is possible only "if the West tells Kiev that non-implementation of the Minsk Agreements on time will lead to consequences of sanctions for Ukraine, if the existing modality of West’s actions is broken when every non-implementation of the Minsk Agreements is blamed only on Russia," he added. "This is not happening so far. Kiev is free to act, to openly sabotage the Minsk Agreements," the lawmaker stressed.

The Ukrainian leadership is, unfortunately, not interested in implementing the Minsk Agreements. Both Russia and EU are interested in the implementation of the Minsk accords while Ukraine "has its advantages and disadvantages in the issue of fulfilling" them, he concluded.

4- Lugansk Defense: Situation Report, 25.07.2016

The situation in the zone of responsibility of the People’s Militia remains tense.

Yesterday, the Ukrainian punishers from the 54th separate mechanized brigade, on orders of their pro-Nazi commanders, seven times shelled our positions in the area of the localities Logvinovo and Kalinovo.

In shelling the punishers used:

- 82mm mortars, 10 mortar shells launched;
- automatic grenade launchers, 435 rounds made;
- small arms.

There are no casualties.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to violate the terms of the military equipment storage along the contact line, provided by the Minsk Agreements, as well as they use the ceasefire regime to build up the military potential of their units in the ATO area.

In particular, according to our intelligence, in the area of the locality of Belogorovka, the Popasnyansky region, without the lines of withdrawal, established by the Minsk Agreements, there was detected a cluster of the AFU equipment. On the enemy’s positions there was found one anti-aircraft missile complex «Strela-10», two infantry fighting vehicles, three vehicles and 32 tanks. All the equipment is thoroughly guarded, a park of military vehicles is laid out, and the personnel guarding the equipment occupies about 20 tents.

In addition, on the outskirts of the locality of Mironovsky, situated near the contact line, at a fork of the railway lines, in a caponier, there were found two disguised tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle.

Long-term firing positions of the Ukrainian military were detected along the border with the Russian Federation, 2 km away from the locality of Sizoye, the Stanichno-Lugansky region.

On the whole, the concentration of the enemy’s main forces in the zone of responsibility of the People’s Militia did not change over the past day. However, the Ukrainian military reconnaissance groups became more active, including their use of drones and other technical means of reconnaissance.

In addition, in the close proximity of the contact line, we found a new vantage point of the enemy, set up in the «grey» zone. It is situated in the area of the locality of Novotoshkovskoye. The vantage point found is being actively equipped, shifts and guards are organised.

It also came to our knowledge that in the area of the locality Rozkvit, the Stanichno-Lugansky region, the AFU carried out military exercises with the use of artillery. It is known that during the exercises, there were used three motorized artillery systems 2C1 «Gvozdika». The exercises were carried out both during the day and at night.

Thus, the criminal actions of official Kiev, aimed at the revitalization of the units activity along the contact line, clearly indicate continued efforts of the Ukrainian side to resolve the conflict by military means. The implementation of the Minsk Agreements are obviously not included in their plans.

5- Donetsk Defense: Situation Report, 25.07.2016

The situation in the Donetsk People's Republic remains tense.

Over the past day the number of attacks reached five hundred seventy.

The enemy launched sixty-nine 122 and 152mm artillery shells, a hundred ninety-five 12mm mortar shells and a hundred fifty-eight 82mm mortar shells. In addition, the enemy used in shelling infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.

The war criminals continued to shell the following localities: Vasilyevka, Yasinovataya, Spartak, Mineralnoye, Dokuchaevsk, Leninskoye, Kominternovo, Sakhanka, Oktyabr, the Petrovsky district and the airport of Donetsk city.

As a result of the shelling of the locality of Kominternovo, one residential house is damaged and two civilians wounded.

We passed all the data about the Minsk Agreements violations to representatives of the OSCE and JCCC.

We continue to record the strengthening of the enemy's group in violation of the previously concluded Minsk Agreements:

- In Pesky (3 km away from the contact line) and Pervomayskoye (6 km away from the contact line), there were detected four 120mm mortars in each;
- In Chasov Yar (20 km away from the contact line), there were found six disguised 122mm motorised artillery systems "Gvozdika", ten tanks and fifteen vehicles with ammunition;
- In Ivanovka (37 km away from the contact line), there were detected three MLRS "Grad" moving towards the contact line.

The military and political authorities of Ukraine deliberately create tension along the contact line. In particular, the greatest aggravation is noted in the areas of the localities Yasinovataya, Donetsk, Spartak, Telmanovo and Sakhanka.

The Ukrainian punishers, commanders of the 58th and 5rd3 mechanised infantry, the 30th mechanized, the 55th artillery and the 81st air-mobile brigades Zabolotny, Vodolazsky, Yakubov, Brusov and Moysyuk, respectively, perform criminal orders of the Kiev junta to murder civilians and destroy the infrastructure of Donbass.

The DPR intelligence found attempts to manipulate the OSCE mission representatives, showing them staged attacks and staging the Minsk Agreements violations by the DPR People's Militia. In our turn, we advise the monitoring mission to visit the area of the locality of Zhelannoye. Last night, in violation of safety during the shelling of the territory of the Republic, there was a detonation of ammunition on the positions of 152mm artillery howitzers "MSTA-B" of the 55th artillery brigade. The incident resulted in one howitzer destroyed and another three damaged, with the AFU having lost eleven men killed and another eighteen wounded.

Official Kiev consistently seeks to disrupt the Minsk Agreements, demonstrating its unwillingness to settle the conflict in the south-east of the country by peaceful means.

6- DPR public primaries to become democracy example for the whole world

The international observer from Finland Johan Bäckman does not exclude that preliminary elections in the DPR will become a new example of democracy for all the countries. He stated this during the round table devoted to holding primaries-2016 today.

"I consider the process of holding primaries in the Donetsk People's Republic to be unique. Because the authorities gave people a platform for direct participation in political processes. I haven’t seen such a freedom of will anywhere else. Therefore, I am sure that primaries may become a new democracy example for the whole world," said the representative of the observers group.

Earlier the Finnish observer, public figure, political scientist and journalist Johan Bäckman has highly appreciated the level of preparation for holding primaries during his visit to Telmanovo and Novoazovsk.
